The whole complex is being divided into zones by functions of buildings; volumes are being located according to urban surroundings, relief differences etc. Distinct amount of attention is being paid to external connections, internal spaces of the complex and gaps between buildings. Taking into account pedestrian flow, overlook of volumes and their interrelation, we plan open and closed spaces, which form academic mood of the complex. By the main entrance the Studies’ buildings form a cozy inner yard with a symbol of the complex, amphitheatre, open and covered paths, bridges. Student apartment complex is formed of separate buildings, which are freely spread close to nature; an already existing chapel is being inserted spontaneously in between as well. This building could become universal meditation area for all religions. Though the whole ensemble does not dominate in the surroundings, the hall-building is being treated as the main and seen urbanistic and architectural accent of the ensemble. This building is being located close to a bend of a city highway, in the center of the complex, in between to composite formations (natural and urban). To express the facades we suggest moving objects, shutters, which would emphasize the buildings’ connection with nature and huge energetic efficiency (closed/half-open/open); reflecting purpose of music we apply ideas of visualization of music and other new technologies.
