The main objective is to reflect the expectations of all social groups in a huge public space
Lukiškės Square will preserve the prevailing green character, but it will clearly form and express functional zones, reflecting the historical layers of different epochs. The square will naturally become a symbol of freedom and democracy.

The main provision - to reconcile the representative and recreational functions - it is important, first of all, to clearly separate the representative, memorial, social and recreational functional areas, and then, to link them to a single composite whole.
The solution is emphasized by the line of artistic tension - the symbolic boundary between occupations of Lithuania and freedom. This section in space has highlighted two parts: a representative solid area of the square where representative events, city celebrations, fairs, etc. can be held, as well as green - a democratic zone with lots of life and greenery - places for picnics, outdoor cafes, children's playgrounds, playgrounds , walking trails, bike trail. New lighting fixtures, other small architectural elements are installed here. The "tree of life" is a system of green space tracks, from the main path - the trunk - is split into smaller branches and immediately joins the adjacent city spaces.
