Over the centuries, the industrial area of the SPARTA factory, established in Soviet times between residential blocks in the center of Vilnius, near the New Town, has been converted to a new purpose. The created project reflects the modern requirements of life and business, but the new changes do not negate the historical development, naturally extend it, humanize it and provide high quality to the environment. The solutions revitalize and highlight the character of the urban fabric, sensitively preserve and modernize not only part of the physical material substance, but also the prevailing specific spirit and mood of the industrial area. The emphasized contextual complex combines the past and the present into a unified whole, harmonizes the relationship of the territory with the diverse environment, creates extremely versatile, individualized, comfortable, attractive work, communication, recreation and public spaces.
